The album came out digitally last month and will be released on CD and vinyl on March 28. Fansite Ateaseweb.com has published pictures of the new artwork.

As well as the artwork the preview revealed that Barrymore gets her own special message on the sleeve. The credit reads: “A big thank you very much indeed to Drew Barrymore.”

Fans have speculated that band may have recorded the album at the home of the actress. They are known to have held album sessions in Los Angeles, the city she has a home in.

In their new movie “Going the Distance,” actress Drew Barrymore and actor Justin Long star alongside each other as a couple who are trying their hardest to maintain a long-distance relationship. One is in New York City and the other is on the other side of the country in San Francisco.

And Drew says that her real-life relationship with Justin (which ended in 2008) helped the pair make their on-screen relationship seem that much more real, not to mention how easy it was to film a movie about long distance relationships with a former long distance lover.

Drew told Britain’s Daily Mirror:

“I thought it would be a unique experience to go work with someone I had a history with and who I had emotional times with and who genuinely makes me laugh and who I’m genuinely attracted to. I knew the chemistry between us would be honest so we would be able to bring a truth to the fact that a relationship can be very difficult and I thought that would be a real benefit. I think we balanced the line really well and I think we were willing to bare that chemistry and the pain and joy we’d felt in life.”

“They were groping each other and making out in the middle of the bar!” an eyewitness told America’s Life & Style magazine. “They couldn’t have cared less if there were other people in the room.”

Justin, dressed in skinny jeans and a blazer, was never far from Drew (who was clad in a long sparkly dress and boots) the entire night. “He held her hand or had his arm around her constantly,” the eyewitness adds. “They make an adorable couple, and they seem totally in love!”

Barrymore, 34, has described Long as “the most compassionate person I’ve ever met.”

The pair officially split in July of last year, but have been linked repeatedly since.

They’re due to star together in new movie Going The Distance. In the flick, which hits theaters in 2011, the duo play long-distance lovers.

You’ve also got the new roller-derby comedy Whip It, starring Ellen Page as a rebellious teenager who signs up to play the brutal and sexy female sport against her mother’s will, finding friendship and freedom among the bruises and falls.

The movie, which opens Oct. 9, was directed by Drew Barrymore, who has been producing films for years (Donnie Darko, the Charlie’s Angels movies) but finally decided to get directly behind the camera.

Working with Steven Spielberg on E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial and others on her many films as an adult, Barrymore learned that directing calls upon a lifetime of experiences.

“Everything I’ve learned throughout my whole life has been going into this piggy bank, and I just smashed it all over the floor for this one,” she says.

The story of a young girl pushed in many different directions, and pushing back to find herself, is partly her own story as a child star who struggled in the transition to adulthood.

“I felt pressures that everybody feels, whether it’s inter-office, in high school or a small town,” Barrymore says. “Everyone relates to expectations others have or what the world thinks. Who am I going to become? What am I going to be in this world?”

On Monday, a romantic comedy starring Barrymore as an older-than-usual newspaper intern is scheduled to arrive for several days’ shooting at the New York headquarters of The Associated Press.

Barrymore and a production crew will be on hand during the week to shoot scenes for “Going the Distance.”

The AP’s newsroom will serve as the setting for the mythical New York Sentinel, where Barrymore’s character works.

Meanwhile, real-life newsgathering will continue around her as usual by the AP’s editorial staff in the sprawling facility, home to the AP since 2004, which covers roughly the size of two American football fields.

Several scenes are expected to be shot for the film, which also stars Justin Long and is directed by Nanette Burstein (“American Teen” and “The Kid Stays in the Picture”). Also featured are Christina Applegate and Jason Sudeikis. The film, a New Line Cinema production, depicts Barrymore and Long as a couple struggling with their long-distance relationship.

New York’s Daily News, based in the same Manhattan office building as the AP’s headquarters, will also play a part in the film, appearing as a fictional rival newspaper to the Sentinel.

Payment for use of the AP newsroom will go to the AP Emergency Relief Fund, which helps AP staff and family members worldwide cope with catastrophes not covered by company benefits or insurance, according to AP spokeswoman Ellen Hale.

A source exclusively reveals to me that the Samantha Who? star has signed on for a role in Going the Distance, a romantic comedy starring Barrymore and her maybe-real-life boyfriend Justin Long as a couple in a long-distance relationship…

Applegate will play big sister to Barrymore’s character, according to my source.

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Charlie Day has also joined the cast, playing a friend of Long’s, the source said.

Directed by Nanette Burstein, the New Line flick begins shooting July 15 in New York City. Adam Shankman and Jennifer Gibgot are producing.

Reps for Applegate and Day confirmed their new gigs.

Applegate was last seen on the big screen opposite Rainn Wilson in The Rocker. We’ll see—well, hear—her come Christmastime in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, a follow-up to 2007′s Alvin.

Samantha Who? was recently canceled by ABC, but remaining episodes are airing throughout the summer.
